Masters

AUBC is proud and privileged to have a large group of masters in the Club. AUBC masters balance the different needs of older – age members, such as staying in touch with the Club, keeping fit and active, competing in masters’ races, and (most importantly) enjoying a drink or two at the bar after sessions as a chance to keep in touch with old crewmates and friends, and remember the ‘good old days’ when the boats were slow and the rowers were fast!

Key masters’ events include the State Championships, Australian Masters Games and National Championships and even the World Masters Games, as well as domestic regattas through the season.
Training is comprised of 1-2 water sessions, either on the Torrens or at West Lakes, and 1-2 ergo sessions in the gym.
